Short version
Ai Reshot works with photos that you choose, capture, or submit for repair. The app currently stores
work-in-progress data on your device, can send selected photo data to our repair service when you request AI analysis
or repair, and can save a repaired copy back to your photo library when you choose that action. Because the service
works from the images you submit, those uploads may include faces and other identifying visual details about you
or other people shown in the photo.
1. Overview
In this policy, "Ai Reshot," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operator of the Ai Reshot app and related support services.
"You" means the person using the app or visiting this website.
The app is designed to help users review and repair selected photos, compare before-and-after results,
and keep local project history. The app is not built around a public social feed, user account system, or an advertising profile.
2. Information We Handle
Photos and repair inputs
- Photos you select from the system photo picker.
- Photos you capture with the in-app camera flow.
- Optional reference photos you add to guide a repair.
- Optional marked repair areas or masks you draw to indicate where the app should focus.
Depending on the image you choose, these photo uploads may contain personal information visible in the image,
including faces, facial features, appearance, clothing, surroundings, or other details that could identify you
or other people. In some jurisdictions, a facial image may be treated as sensitive personal information or
biometric-related information. The current app implementation uses submitted images to perform analysis and repair,
and does not describe a separate user-facing face-template or face-recognition feature.
App state and project data
- Task status, project history, selected repair issue, repair mode, and result review state.
- Local settings such as chosen analysis tone and premium-preview indicators where available.
- Basic timestamps and internal identifiers needed to keep drafts, tasks, and saved projects organized on device.
Permissions and device-level actions
- Camera access when you choose to capture a photo inside the app.
- Photo library add-only access when you ask the app to save a repaired copy to Photos.
Support communications
If you email us, we receive the information you include in your message, such as your email address,
screenshots, or a description of the issue.
What we do not currently include in the app implementation
- No sign-up flow or user account profile in the current app implementation.
- No third-party advertising SDKs identified in the current app implementation.
- No third-party analytics SDKs identified in the current app implementation at the time of this update.
3. How We Use Information
- To analyze selected photos and generate repair suggestions.
- To process AI repair requests that you actively submit.
- To keep project history, task state, and repair settings available on your device.
- To save a repaired copy to your photo library when you request it.
- To troubleshoot service issues, prevent misuse, and respond to support requests.
On-device processing
Some capture checks and photo preparation steps run on the device, such as preparing image files,
checking photo edges, light, blur, or alignment, and preserving local task history.
Server-side processing for AI repair
When you ask the app to analyze or repair a photo with AI, the app sends the selected image and any related repair inputs,
such as an optional reference image or marked area, to our service infrastructure and AI processing providers.
This transmission is necessary to return repair suggestions or a repaired result. This means the submitted image,
including any visible face or other identifying visual detail contained in that image, may be processed by AI models
and related service providers on our behalf.
Legal bases for users in the UK or EEA
- Performance of a contract: to provide the repair features you request.
- Consent: when you grant camera or photo-library-related permissions, or when you voluntarily send support information.
- Legitimate interests: to secure the service, investigate misuse, and improve reliability.
4. Sharing and Service Providers
We do not currently sell your personal information. We share information only where reasonably needed to operate the service,
comply with law, or protect users and the service.
- AI model and infrastructure providers that help process submitted repair requests, including uploaded images that may contain faces or other identifying visual details.
- App store operators when they process purchases, subscriptions, or refunds on their own systems.
- Service providers that help us host or secure support-related systems.
- Authorities or counterparties when required by law, legal process, or to address fraud, abuse, or safety issues.
We do not publish your photos to a public feed through this website or the current app implementation.
5. Storage and Retention
Local storage on your device
The current app implementation stores drafts, project records, repair metadata, and related image blobs in the app's local storage
so you can continue work later and review previous repairs.
Repair-service processing
Based on the current implementation, Ai Reshot is designed to process repair requests without offering a user-facing cloud photo gallery.
Temporary server-side processing may occur while your request is being handled. We may keep limited technical records that are reasonably
necessary for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
Retention periods
- On-device project data generally remains until you remove the app, overwrite local app data, or delete related device content.
- Saved copies written to your system photo library are governed by your device and photo-library settings.
- Support emails and related records may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond, comply with law, or resolve disputes.
International transfers
Depending on where you use the service, your information may be processed in countries other than your own.
When this happens, we aim to use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the transfer.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information we handle. No system can promise perfect security,
so you should also protect access to your device and avoid sending us information you do not want transmitted for repair or support.
6. Your Choices and Rights
- You can choose whether to capture a photo, select a photo, add a reference photo, or mark a repair area.
- You can decide whether to save a repaired copy to your photo library.
- You can manage camera and photo permissions in your device settings.
- You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of support records and other information we control.
- If you are in a region with privacy rights laws, you may have additional rights subject to applicable exceptions.
To make a privacy request, email [email protected] and include enough detail for us to understand your request.
7. Children's Privacy
Ai Reshot is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information through support channels,
please contact us and we will review the request.
8. Changes and Contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect app changes, legal requirements, or support-process updates.
When we make material updates, we may revise the date on this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the app or on the website.
